Covid-19 Policy

  • There will be fewer appointments available each day / week so clients are advised to book ahead of time
  • We will be unable to do home visits for the time being
  • If you are in the “high risk” category, then we are unable to see you at this time
  • If you have had confirmed Covid-19 please get confirmation from your GP or consultant that it is safe for you to receive a treatment
  • If you are in the “moderate risk category” please get confirmation from your GP, midwife or consultant that it is safe for you to receive a treatment
  • Therapists will monitor their own health and will cancel appointments immediately if they start to show symptoms of Covid-19
  • If anyone in your household or support bubble show signs of Covid-19, please reschedule your appointment
  • Clients will be asked to sanitise their hands upon arrival to the studio and to wash their hands before their treatment
  • You will be asked to cancel your appointment if at 24 hours before you are showing symptoms of Covid-19
  • Your appointment details will be kept for 21 days, and should any client be symptomatic, you will be contacted
  • Please bring your own water bottle to your appointment
  • Ventilation will be increased with the use of an extractor fan
  • The bathroom is available to clients but please avoid use if you are able to
  • Please come to your appointment alone 
  • All consultation forms and notes will be done online and kept according to GDPR guidelines
  • We will be required to wear a visor and mask (depending on the length of treatment) but you are not required to do so (but please feel free to if you so wish)
  • No facial massage can be carried out until we are told it is safe to do so, therefore Hopi Ear Candling and Indian Head Massage can not be scheduled
  • As equipment is used in Warm Bamboo and Hot Stone Massage, we are temporarily suspending these treatments

 

To ease your mind, we are returning to other high standards, such as –

 

  • Clean towels are used for each client and washed at 60 degrees
  • Disposable coverings are used
  • The studio is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between clients, including all surfaces and equipment
  • An extractor fan will be operating to ensure a healthy air flow within the studio
